On November 30th, 1-5pm, we are holding a ceramics silent auction & community gathering for the Sogorea Te' Land Trust.
Sogorea Te’ Land Trust is an urban Indigenous women-led land trust based in the San Francisco Bay Area that facilitates the return of Indigenous land to Indigenous people.
Our Ask for Artists:
We’re asking our clay community for your support in making this happen! We're asking artists to donate 1-3 pieces of work which will be displayed for our friends and larger community and be auctioned off to the highest bidder. All proceeds will be going to the Sogorea Te' Land trust.
All work will need to be dropped off at Merritt Ceramics or 838 57th St. by Nov. 27th.
Please join us, invite your friends, and bring your turkey day leftovers! Support the work of local artists and make some bids for your favorite pieces. Only the highest bidder will bring the piece home!
Lastly, we intend for this silent auction to kickoff an ongoing fundraiser for the Sogorea Te' Land Trust until the end of this calendar year. Please stay connected with us to learn more about how to get involved as an artist or supporter!
