Amaco Cirrus Flow glaze tests
I’ve been using Amaco’s Cirrus Flow in combination with Merritt Ceramic’s studio glazes, underglazes, and slips.
With 3 layers of Cirrus Flow over colored slip or underglaze, you can see through the translucent glaze. I really like this effect but you can feel scratchy bumps on the rims or handles. This is probably due to the fact that the the clay body used was a mix of reclaimed midfire Beemix and Speckle Buff.
